YOUR INPUT IS WELCOMED.

You are invited to add teachings to this web site.
The goal is to have more than 36 speakers on this site.
Then the intercessors, advisors and donors can get a sense of where we are going.

I passed out an orange card with a toll free phone number and pass code.
If you received one of these then use it.
Otherwise email me and I will send you the phone number and pass code.

When I asked the director of missions for a central statement of orthodox Christianity that is accepted by a wide range of organizations he pointed me to these two.

IFMA Doctrinal statement
http://www.ifmamissions.org/doctrin.htm
IFMA has more than 200 mission agencies as members.
These nine statement are a simple summary of what most Christians believe.
This is like the BIG fence that goes ALL the way around the HUGE ranch.

Laussane Covenant
http://www.gospelcom.net/lcwe/statements/covenant.html
This document is MUCH longer.
It covers ALL the waterfront.
There is more than enough material here to get you started.
But remember Keep IT Short.
Make just ONE point well in three minutes.

Your challenge is to prayerfully choose just one at a time.
Give one or more three-minute messages.
Go ahead and teach or preach.
Just open it up.
Break the bread of life.
Bring forth the light.
Communicate the truth in love.
Assume the listener is receptive.
Just like in a church there is a range of listeners.
Consider the perspective of skeptic, seeker, new believer, growing believer, etc.

The Lausanne Covenant has been translated into over twenty languages. Fifteen years later, at Lausanne II in Manila in the Philippines in July 1989 the more than 3.000 participants at the Second International Congress on World Evangelization another important document was made: The Manila Manifesto

http://www.gospelcom.net/lcwe/statements/manila.html

There is yet more fuel for messages in the 21 affirmations of the Manila Manifesto.

Creeds, Confessions and Catechisms

Over the centuries various groups have sought to write a summary of Christianity. A few of these may be familiar like the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. Many were used to instruct children and new converts. The following link is offered as a vast source of sparks for 3-minute messages. http://www.reformed.org/documents/
